Yoga Weekends in DevonNext Weekend: TBA , 2 nights from £250 This lovely yoga weekend is set in north Devon, on the fringes of Exmoor and Dartmoor. Situated in the heart of a charming West Country village, our accommodation is a beautiful old rectory owned by a local artist. Highlights- Revitalising yoga classes Accommodation - The Old RectoryThis country residence maintains Victorian grandeur with bold contemporary styling . It is the artist owner's home and lavish care is immediately evident. You might find a minotaur sculpture atop an antique Persian rug, or silver candleabras above African sculptures - complimented by a nude statuette. It is a place full of discoveries and associations: a feather boa adorns a mantelpiece next to an African mask; antlers and a pair of snakeskin high heels adorn a table, overlooked by a madonna, next to a fez. What on earth could all this mean? Outside, gravel paths meander through the tiered garden and through a hedged tunnel to reveal a swimming pool surrounded by rocking chairs. As well as an infrared sauna, jacuzzi and a tennis court outdoors there are also several indoor chill out areas - a fire-warmed drawing room, an aga-heated kitchen, a gym, and a games room. |
