As a renowned watersports centre, the Red Sea town of Dahab on offers many possiblilities for diving, windsurfing and watersports. Running alongside our Red Sea Paradise yoga holidays, Dahab Active is ideal for those not into yoga and offers you the chance to become a qualified diver, rider or windsurfer in some of the most beautiful surroundings on the planet.

How does it work?
We offer a points system: each activity is worth a certain amount of points. You can take part in anything you want up to a maximum of ten points.

Windsurfing (1 point per hour session)
Diving (1 point per guided dive session)
Horse riding (1 point per ride)
Trip to Mount Sinai (2 points)
Snorkelling safari (1 point)
Yoga sessions (1 point per class)
Dinner and yoga in the desert (1 point)

Accommodation: Comfort Option - the Coral Coast
Built in one of the most unspoiled locations in Egypt, this lovely hotel is set on a beach shimmering with turquoise water. Hugged by mountains and situated metres from the Gulf of Aqaba, the Coral Coast has beautiful rooms and professional, friendly staff. The hotel provides the perfect base for trips into the desert and features a fantastic seafront restaurant bar serving a variety of traditional dishes. All rooms are air conditioned, and each boasts a private balcony or terrace and an unparalleled sea view over the glistening waters.

Accommodation: Comfort Option - the Dahab Paradise
This glorious new hotel is situated at the foot of a mountain, 15m from the lapping waters of the Red Sea. Overlooking a circular swimming pool, the Dahab Paradise boasts large balconies, a palm shaded eating areas and a location that's both secluded yet not too far from the town centre. The kitchen features an eclectic mix of international and Egyptian cuisines while the friendly staff are an excellent complement to this comfortable, contemporary home from home.

Accommodation: Budget Option - Sindbad Camp
RIght next to the Red Sea and overlooking a pristine coral reef, Sindbad camp is a perennial Dahab favourite for itinerant travellers. Camps have been a Dahab staple since the 70s - simple, basic rooms arranged around central dining areas (usually a selection of cushions and carpets). Run by a friendly Bedouin team, Sindbad is a clean, no frills option for our Red Sea Paradise holiday - bathrooms are shared while all rooms are single.

What's included
Activities selected from the following: diving; windsurfing; yoga; horse riding; overnight trip to Mount Sinai; snorkelling safari; dinner and yoga in the desert. You can pick and choose as you wish; each activity counts for one session up to a maximum of ten.Hotel accommodation (B&B) and airport transfers are also included; desert extension includes full board, camping gear and beach hut.

What you'll need
For yoga sessions you'll need loose, comfortable garments; lightweight cottons and linens are ideal.
You'll need warm clothing for Mount Sinai; otherwise Egyptian weather is generally warm all year round. Beachwear on the Red Sea is just as that on the Mediterranean. All kit for diving, windsurfing and horse riding is provided.

Egypt can be hot: don't forget sunblock, sunglasses, a hat and a sarong. Scarves are great for keeping off the sun and any light chills at night. Lightweight walking shoes or boots are ideal for Mount Sinai and the desert; otherwise sandals and/or flip-flops are good for the beach.

We stay seven nights in Dahab, around 70 miles (100K) from Sharm el Sheik airport.

Booking & balance payments
Payment consists of a £100 deposit followed by a balance 8 weeks before departure. You can pay by cheque or by credit card online via our Paypal system. Once we receive deposit payment and your booking form we'll send you a confirmation which also acts as your receipt. We'll also send you an invoice (via Paypal or on paper) for your balance along with any upgrades (single supplements, extra nights etc) required. Optional activities are paid for direct to your tour leader when you arrive. Cheques made out to 'Yoga Travel'.
